(DG) Dreadnoughts

The dreadnought acoustic guitar body was developed by C.F. Martin & Company in 1916 but not for Martin for another guitar company. Was discontinued then CF Martin brought it back to live in 1931. Gruene Guitars carries on that tradition of well built reasonably priced dreadnoughts with our DG series of guitars. From the DG-50 to the DG-20, they are built, carefully inspected and design by Gruene Guitars. Once you play a Gruene Guitar you will feel, hear the difference. From the selection of the wood and how they are carefully assembled by hand. Modern technology has aided us all and we use as much modern technology to aid in the process. It reduces waste and allows us to conserve our natural resources.

If I had to pick one guitar to play and could only pick one it would be the DG-40. Not because I designed, engineered and built this guitar, but because it is just so darn good, if it wasn't a Gruene I would still feel that way about this guitar. For overall playability and tone, I've not played or built a better guitar. This is an amazing guitar.
